Mercure Airport Hotel Berlin Tegel

The location for the hotel was excellent. The shuttle service was prompt and efficient. The rooms were nice.The restraurant good.

I was in Berlin visiting family. I had a 7 am flight home from Tegel so stayed at the hotel which is adjacent to the airport and provides an early shuttle. The room was comfortable, quiet, clean and the staff friendly. My second visit to this hotel. Very convenient for flights out of Tegel.

Some difficult to find the Shuttle at the Airport. Any public transport.

We stayed at this hotel twice, because of the the frequent shuttle service to the airport. We liked the friendliness and efficiency of the staff and the free access to the two computers in the lobby. We were able to print out our boarding passes. The pool is open 24/7. Robes were available at the desk for deposit/refund. The one restaurant had a nice variety of meal selections, with courteous service, but the cost of the breakfast was too high for us.

Only one restaurant, most items pricey. However, it was affordable for us, since we could share our meal selections, and, to further compensate, we didn't need to pay for a taxi to get us to and from the airport. The numbering system of the rooms is confusing.. Why not have the ground floor room numbers begin with 0, or G, or EG, and the ones on the other floors correspond with the floor numbers?

Excellent location three minutes from Berlin Tegel, quick and easy shuttle service to and from the airport, friendly staff, clean and quiet room, good breakfast.

Nothing. I will definitely use it again if I connect overnight at Berlin Tegel.

We like it because it so close to the airport. Also the place nearby. When you take a walk you feel like you are in the forrest.

We didnt like the people in the reception. They should work with something else where they dont service people. The shuttlebus didnt pick up and leave to terminal C and you have to call the hotel to have the bus comming and pick you up. Breakfast costs more then it say on booking.We didnt get the room standard we booked.

We liked everything about this hotel. Proximity to the Tegel Airport, cleanliness, comfort of the beds, nice garden in the back next to the swimming pool. Wonderful breakfast , (both in abundance and the presentation), which was included in the price.

We appreciated the helpful staff, the clean and comfortable room, and the excellent restaurant. The hotel was very close to the airport but in a quiet location. The free airport shuttle was a nice added touch.

Loved the setting. I didn't expect it to be in the woods so close to the airport. The closeness to the airport and the free shuttle was why I chose this hotel but I might stay there again because it was so nice, and very clean and comfortable. Although I didn't take advantage of it, I was impressed that the hotel offered free breakfast between 4 & 5 am for early flights.

No sidewalks from airport to hotel. If you take the bus to the airport, you have to walk 800 m to the hotel--with luggage it is difficult.

Check in was very easy and staff was very helpful. Very comfortable, clean and quiet room. Close to airport and free shuttle is a plus if you're traveling. Would definitely stay there again.

Convenient location in walk-by-feet access from Tegel AP, clean room, surprisingly silent and quiet (norwithstanding room window looking at highway), good breakfast

bathroom drain cloged

i stayed here after a long flight from japan. i was seriously jet-lagged and really needed a place to sleep as soon as possible. being located right on the edge of the airport, this hotel was the ideal place. i paid EUR63 from my room, which was well furnished, quite large and very comfortable. it was ideal and the way i was feeling i would have paid anyone twice as much to sleep on their floor. as far as exploring berlin, it is probably of fairly limited value but if like me you are very jet-lagged it is ideal. you get a free shuttle service from outside terminal b to the hotel but you have to tell the airport info desk that you want such a service and they will call the hotel for you. the restaurant is pretty good and the beds v comfy.
